View from the top For over 22 years, Action Training Systems has shared a close working relationship with IFSTA/FPP. We all know they are well respected in the fire service community for their commitment to publishing quality training materials, and we have produced programs supporting their manuals for many years. They have stood by the quality of our content by carrying our training programs, and we are pleased to announce that we now carry and market IFSTA/FFP training materials as well. By combining their reputable brand with our multimedia expertise, we can offer you a total training solution to consolidate your training time and budget. We will continue to nurture this enterprise with IFSTA/FPP and work closely together to provide consistency in your classroom. Their training materials and your feedback guide us in determining our future series, and we have identified a variety of subjects for future development. We are continuing the development of our first EMS series, Emergency Medical Responder, based on the new National EMS Education Standards (NEMES) for basic competency nationwide. This series runs the gamut of the various traumas first responders must identify and manage, and should prove to be one of our most comprehensive series yet. EMR will be available late 2010, followed by EMT-Basic in 2011. It is our mission to pair intelligible learning material based on NFPA standards with high-quality video demonstrations. As we continue to pave the way in quality content in the series to come, we look forward to your feedback to bring you the best training resources imaginable.
