Creating with StageIT Fire Simulator

Creating a Simulation

Creating a Simulation: The fire simulator is used to create a simulation that consists of a series of stages that show the progression of a fire or emergency.  Each stage represents a different phase or view of the incident, focusing on a specific subject for training.  In the image above the Organizer on the left contains the Folders with Stages.  The Media Library is on the right.  The center window contains the selected Stage. You can click and drag or copy and paste items from the Media Library directly to the center edit window. You can also click and drag or copy and paste the Stages or the clips in the Organizer window.  Each Stage can have its own duration.  Each clip or image in each Stage can also have its own duration in combination with the Stage.  This gives you an endless combination of actions for your simulation.

The following tasks are involved in creating a simulation :

1.      Import pictures or other effects into the Media Library  (if you will be using your own pictures,
       videos or audio files).
2.      Create a folder, or folders to organize your stages.
3.      Create one or more stages in the Organizer.
4.      Click and drag a base video or photograph from the Media Library to the edit window.
5.      Edit each stage, by adding images or effects from the Media Library and setting the properties.
6.      Once created a simulation is Published to be used in a Presentation.
7.      Open Presentation mode to present a simulation in single or networked mode to students.
